General meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at Papanui Baptist Church, 144 Sawyers Arms Rd. These monthly meetings are free to our members; if you’re attending as a visitor we ask for a $2 donation.
Meetings start at 9.45 am with tea or coffee and a chat with the formalities beginning at 10.15 am. Housekeeping and other general information start the meeting, followed by the guest speaker at 10.30 am approximately.
The first meeting of the year is in February with the last in November. The December meeting is our Christmas lunch.
Details of the speakers for the next few meetings are set out in our website. A reminder email is sent a week or so before the meeting updating any upcoming activities.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting is held in November and, via a President’s Report and a Financial Report, is an opportunity to review the activities of the financial year, which runs from 1 November – 31 October. At the AGM we also elect new committee members as well as set our member subscription fee for the coming year.
